David Herzberg

Professor David Herzberg is a Historian at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, USA. His current research has to do with addictive pharmaceuticals and U.S. consumer cultures in the 20^th century. He is the author of Happy Pills in America: From Miltown to Prozac (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2009). His new book White Market Drugs: Big Pharma and the Hidden History of Addiction in America has just been published in 2020 by the University of Chicago Press.
