Stephen Snelders

Professor Stephan Snelders is a research fellow at the Faculty of Science, Freudenthal Institut, History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Utrecht. He is a historian with a research focus on the social and cultural contexts of scientific knowledge and technology. He has contributed significantly to the history of drugs, both licit and illicit. Among his publications is work focused on the history of LSD and other psychedelics. His study of Dutch drug smuggling rings in the 20th century will be published by Manchester University Press this year. This interview took place on 02 July 2019, in Utrecht.
